tokidoki means “sometimes” in Japanese and is a company based in the USA with it's headquarteres in Los Angeles, California. tokidoki was founded in 2003 by designer Simone Legno and his partners Pooneh Mohajer and Ivan Arnold. tokidoki have created dozens of product lines featuring the stunning artwork of Simone Legno. These innovative lines include apparel, handbags, cosmetics, accessories, toys, stationary and more. tokidoki has built a worldwide fan base with its fun and adorable characters featured in detailed larger than life designs.

I like the idea because not all little girls are the perfect blonde princess, some are different, some are funky, some want pink hair, so let them have a doll to suit their wants as well. I personally would love a doll like this (if I were a couple years younger obviously) Parents who will be worried about the influence this Barbie will have on their kids must teach their kids to not be so easily influenced
